Lavender Cottage was built in 1798 as a traditionally beamed farm worker’s cottage and has recently been completely renovated to a high standard and decorated with contemporary furnishings. Set in the market town of Southwell, this charming detached cottage is a short walk through the tree lined park to the centre of town; ideal for walkers and cyclists alike!
This cosy cottage has central heating plus a log burner in the living room. A net of logs and kindling for the fire is provided and extra nets of logs can be purchased and delivered to your door, for a small cost.
The living room has a comfortable leather sofa and chair and room to relax and unwind in front of the T.V or play board games by the fire.
The fitted kitchen is fully equipped and should have everything you need. We’ve taken care to provide everything we think you’ll need for a relaxing stay.
The upstairs, with recessed spot lighting and warm wooden flooring throughout provides for maximum cleanliness.
The bedrooms have thick lined curtains and blinds for a maximum good nights rest! The cottage has a main bedroom with a king sized Simba mattress and a smaller twin room. Perfect for a couple or family.
The modern white bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. Shampoo/body wash is stored in the refillable container and small bars of soap are provided to be kinder to the environment.
All bed linen and towels will be provided for your stay.
